A Brisbane sushi restaurant wanted a counter that looked the part, so we shipped 31 pieces of solid, clear Hinoki straight from Japan. Each piece measured 420mm wide, 85mm thick, and 1,400mm long, a substantial size that's hard to find in large quantities. The client's builder made the counter on site, and the timber did the rest.
